Michaelhouse boys, staff and musicians collaborate with members of the Khazimula Childrens project. One anthem, one future.
Khazimula is home to approximately 30 boys and girls, ranging in age from 6 - 18, who thrive under the gentle but firm stewardship of Father Mvuyo, assisted by his wife and a team of support staff. These vulnerable children have a chance to live as children again, confident of the love and interest of their caregivers, their next meal and their own warm, safe beds. They attend school at Jabula Combined or Asithuthuke, both schools in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal with some having displayed an aptitude for learning.
Michaelhouse continues to be involved at Khazimula and our boys visit weekly as part of their Community Outreach.
